About NordLEI
NordLEI is an accredited issuer of Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs), which are required for companies involved in financial transactions. LEIs are unique identification codes that contain information about a company's or legal entity's structure and ownership, enabling them to be identified worldwide.
NordLEI was the first to provide LEI codes in Scandinavia as early as 2014 and is now one of the few approved issuers of LEI codes. Since 2021 NordLEI has been a Local Operating Unit (LOU) accredited by GLEIF, which means we are entrusted with issuing codes ourselves.

Our Mission
Our primary goal is to provide LEI codes with the highest possible data quality and security. At NordLEI we truly care about our customers. We became the first Local Operating Unit (LOU) accredited by the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) in Scandinavia, starting on September 22, 2021.
Our operations span more than 50 jurisdictions worldwide. This broad reach allows us to deliver tailored services, navigating the varied landscapes of these regions. Additionally, our authorization to issue LEI codes for funds, in compliance with the ROC Policy on Fund Relationships, demonstrates our ability to manage complex financial structures.
Our largest clients
Our clients include some of the largest banks and institutions. We are also accredited to issue LEIs for funds in accordance with the ROC Policy on Fund Relationship.
Regulatory supervision
We are supervised by the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), formerly known as the Data Inspection Board, ensuring that all your data is secure with us. With us as your provider, your data is handled with the utmost care and respect.
